Love and War

"No worries Dinna, no worries." Gunther snorted, before standing a stomping off.

Raven sat at the top of a hill, luckily a breeze had picked up and was pushing the fire away. He blinked, trying to erase the failure that surrounded him. He played back his time in the fire over and over until he was ready to jump off the cliff. How could he have let those innocent wolve die? It was all his fault. The illness, th war, the fire, somehow, it was all his fault.

Dinna saw him, and she made it look like she was out of breath. She ran up to him. "Raven!" she yelled stopping at him. "Vikings are starting a war, their getting ready." she said. "Don't you dare jump off this cliff, you hear me. I don't want anything happening to you."

Raven looked at her, guessing that she hadn't been running very long due to the lack of sweat on her pelt. "Only a matter of time before the Vikings set off a war." He grummbled, standing and turning. He walked past her, ignoring the second thing she said about jumping off of the cliff, it wasn't in his best interest anyways. He walked briskly down the cliff, slightly ignoring her, but not meaning too.

"Raven," she called to him. "Don't get your self killed... I um... I sort of like you,"

Raven looked at her, his topaz eyes narrowing. He paused for only a second, then shrugged and began walking. "There's no time for romance in war." He said simply.

"Yea, but you still have the chance to be with the one you love, including at this month of the year." she said and smirked, knowing it was February.

Raven snorted, he'd never betray Gravity, "I'm sorry," He said sarcastically, "But we hardly know each other." Raven growled.

"Soo, you're still Hansom." she said and soon jumped to his side. "You always need someone like that in the middle of a war zone." She finished, her voice soft and full of comfort.

Raven shot her a glare, his eyes expressing one message, Back off.
"I'm in no posistion to be looking for a mate, nor do I intend to have one anytime soon." He snapped.

'Jesse, don't seem like a prince with that aptitude," she said and smirked. "So, tell me, who was this close person that died from the Illness?"

Raven narrowed his eyes at her curiousity, he felt as if Dinna shouldn't know about Gravity. Everything about Gravity was different from Dinna. Gravity was soft spoken, polite, quiet, patient, while Rave hadn't entirely figure Dinna out. He didn't feel right talking about Gravity, and he didn't want her to know about his late mate.

"My mate, let's keep it at that." He growled, irritably.

Dinna smirked and then spoke, "Know, be with me and you'll know everything bout the vikings, their plans, where they are going... everything you want to beat them." She once again smirked. Dinna was much different from Gravity, well, she was Patient, but that was it. Only a little bit of being Polite, and she can be soft spoken if she wasn't with the vikings.

Raven narrowed his eyes at her, "You know things about the Vikings? Tell me." He said, clearly showing no interest in her offer of becoming his new mate.

"Nope," she said abruptly. She smirked knowing how much it would please him to know everything about them. "I've know them for over 150 years, I know everyone there, What their jobs are, their plans, EVERYTHING.

Raven shot her a scowl, "You're breaking that Mandian Code by going against your own kind, I could have you banished for this." Raven thretened, playing no games.

"I didn't say I was working against those foul things, I'm just saying I know them all, I learn by watching and listening. Sometimes they are stupid enough to leave plans RIGHT in the open with no one watching." Dinna growled. "I never said ANYTHING about working with them or going against our kind."

Raven shook his head, "I never said that you were allies with them. But your with holding information from a cammanding officer. I demand you tell me what you know, that's an order." Raven growled.

Dinna laughed. "You're telling me that i have to tell you the information, sonny I'm a free runner." she spoke.

Raven growled, "Fine, then I banish you. Dinna, you are banished." Raven growled, again, he wasn't in the mood for games.

Dinna sat down and chuckled. "Can't ban a free runner. You mad now?"

"Then you're trespassing, if I see you on Mandian territory ever again, I'll be sure ot make a point of kicking you out." Raven growled, his eyes dangerous.

"Oh yea what are you going to do puppy?" Dinna growled in question, her voice sounded like Viking, because she learned it from Vikings talking. She got into a defensive position continuing to growl, showing her teeth at him.

In an instant, Raven was atop the female, pinning her down with his claws, "Don't test me." He growled in a low voice.

Dinna used her back paws to smash him off of her and nearly into a tree. She quickly jumped up and reached down to her leg before pulling out a knife with her teeth holding it firm in her mouth.

OOC: She has a little knife carrier thing on her leg, she got it on the way back, (WAs left behind from someone) XD
